Food was great, service was great and ambiance was great! I will continue to go there, one of the best Chinese food places!

I went here for lunch while visiting a family member in the near by hospital. Food was good although they give you enough for 3 people and service was great. Not much for ambiance but we were ok with that.

Very tasty sweet and sour pork, with moo pork, fried rice and crispy chow mein! Dinner for 2 to go was enough for 4 adults and possibly 5! I would definitely order from Canton Chinese Restaurant!

The food is super great tasting, great flavor and perfect texture. The servers are very helpful and friendly. The place is a little bit run down but still nice.

We came at 830 pm Busy as always; nothing new. Got seated and served drinks quickly. Was told food was going to take awhile to cook. Dad got his food first which was delicious and I got mine 15 minutes after which was fine. Dad ordered the wrong combo but he very much enjoyed the gravy and that Pattie The only thing that does bother me is the amount of tables that are dirty and stay dirty . It just makes the environment feel like unsanitary

I went during the week at lunch time to try this place on my lunch break. The ambiance: It was not busy at all it was quiet and we. It did not disappoint. I had a lunch special that had orange chicken beef broccoli chow mein and fried rice. My thing is chow mein. You have to have good chow mein and this place had it. The service was fine, waitress was nice. Now I have two great options restaurant wise to choose from. This place and new star China. I'll definitely come back to dine in would love to try their other plates.

This place is like a 1980's time capsule. Qingdao Beer calendar on the wall? Check. Table older than your grandpa? Check. Paper placemats with Chinese zodiac? Check. The Chinese name of the restaurant is way more interesting, 羊城, the City of Rams. Around 900BC, the city of Canton had a famine. The gods gifted the people 5 good luck rams that brought 3000 years of prosperity to Canton. Ok, enough history lessons. The waiters are fast and emotionless, which is typical of old school Cantonese restaurants. I turned on my charm and the waitress finally smiled . I ordered the first thing on their lunch special, Mongolian Beef . It is one of the most famous and least authentic Chinese dish. Like magic, the egg drop soup appeared instantly on the table. Who need small talk when your waitress has super power speed. Very nice soup for a cold winter day. Then the main dish came so fast I barely swallowed my last bit of soup. Why do people love old school Chinese restaurants? It is the value. The dish is huge, a full serving of fried rice, a full serving of chow mein, and a generous portion of beef. Honestly in any other restaurant it can be sold as 3 separate dishes. The beef was sweet, tangy, with mild spice (Cantonese people are lightweight when it comes to spicy food), with delightful white onions, carrots. Shameful, guilty pleaser for sure. The fried rice even have bits of bbq pork in it. When the bill came, it is $13 tax included. I ate until I burst and I only finish half of the food. If you want a quick, hearty, delicious Chinese fix, this is the place for you!

Best war won ton soup I've ever had. Quick service, great food and conveniently located
